That five letter word. We all do it. Without planning to and
without thought, we worry. We worry about finances, family, health, work, church,
our bodies, relationships; we worry about what other people think of us. This
week I heard a great sermon about worrying. It was pretty much a call to give
up worrying because worrying is the opposite of expressing
faith. How many of us claim to have a great faith, yet still tear our hair out
and shred our fingernails with worry over something that we have no control
over. Remember fear is the devil's game, and he plays it well. One of the greatest expressions of
faith you can have is to give up worrying, yes, like quitting chocolate or
cakes, make a conscious effort to give up worrying. Prove how big your God is
by handing it all over to Him. You will have to do it again and again, but your
load will be lighter, and your hair and nails with thank you.
